RSD plans to introduce in 2006 a type approval scheme for goods vehicles in line with the corresponding scheme in Great Britain. The scheme will provide for issue of Department’s approval certificates (DACs) in respect of such vehicles that would correspond to Minister’s approval certificates in GB (MACs).
