- Investigative study coursework......Marks 20%
- Theory Paper .......Marks 60%
Moped
riding requires approximately 20% of the total time available and is best delivered in concentrated
blocks.
The investigative study involves approximately
20% of class time and can be completed at any time during the course at the teacher's discretion.
The
theory test is divided into 6 areas of study, as follows:
- Vehicle control / road user behaviour
- Legal requirements
- Evolution of road transport and its effects on society
- Motoring Mathematics
- Accident procedures
- Motor vehicle technology
