CarsThe Road Safety Strategy has an objective of reducing deaths and serious injuries by 33% by 2012. Key factors in achieving that objective are improving road user behaviour and an increased awareness of Road Safety. It is a well known fact that the main causes of road traffic collisions which all too often end in injury and death are speed, carelessness, non-wearing of seat belts and drink/drugs driving.
